About getting paid
I am not going to throw a number at you before I have seen the property. If somebody promises you ten thousand dollars sight unseen, ask them how they know.
Here is how I think about it. If you hand me a deal that is already locked up, that is a finder's fee. If there is more room in it, I can pay more. If you are working it with me, going back to the seller, running numbers, that is a different conversation and it should be.
My partner Trevor brought me a deal he was going to wholesale. We flipped it together instead. Eight flips later we are still partners. So tell me what you want out of it and we will figure it out, in writing, before anything moves.
